“Faith is something all Christians claim to have, and rightly so. But can we honestly say yes we have faith enough to move mountains or walk on water?” A news organization reported the unfortunate incident of a pastor drowning after attempting to walk on water.
Pastor Frank Kable, 35 assured his congregation that he could repeat the biblical miracle and he attempted to do so on a beach in Gabon’s capital, Libreville.
‘He told churchgoers he’d had a revelation that if he had enough faith, he could walk on water like Jesus,’ an eyewitness told the Glasgow Daily Record. ‘He took his congregation to the beach saying he would walk across the Komo estuary, which takes 20 minutes by boat.
He walked into the water and was soon overtaken as the water submerged his entire body. Witnesses say he never came back up.
