Nicki Minaj has made a little girl’s dream come true! Miyah, who was diagnosed with Stage 3B Burkitt’s lymphoma last year, wished to meet her idol and wear one of her infamous pink wigs – and the songstress more than delivered.
The “Super Bass” rapper invited the 5-year-old to a recording studio in NYC and posted a series of sweet photos on Instagram from her visit with the young cancer patient — who got to rock bright hair similar to Nicki’s.
“She gave me the colorful bracelet I’m wearing. I rlly love it,” the entertainer captioned a shot of the pair embracing.
Miyah has already undergone seven chemotherapy treatments since her diagnosis, but you’d never notice from her happy disposition!
Nicki also posted a video of the adorable girl while she gave her a few words of encouragement.
“I’m so happy that you got your pink wig,” she said. “I think you’re beautiful without the pink wig, OK? But whenever you want to play dress-up and feel like a little Barbie doll that’s fine. But remember you promised me that you were going to stay in school.”
The 31-year-old met with Miyah after Washington Wizards point guard John Wall petitioned to get Nicki’s attention about the youngster’s request.
He posted an Instagram video in March using the hashtags #HelpMiyahMeetNicki and #PinkWigForMiyah.
“Fans I need your help to get my buddy Miyah’s wish granted. She’s a 5 year old battling cancer and her wish is to meet @NickiMinaj and get one of her pink wigs!” the athlete wrote.
Nicki responded, “Hi Miyah!!!! Let’s see what we can come up with for a pretty little princess. ;).”
