GB_SBland

The unfortunate story of Sandra Bland, the African-American woman found hanging in her jail cell after an arrest for a minor violation, has captured the hearts of America.

As more details about the 28-year-old continue to be released, a new tidbit has been discovered. She was a fan of gospel singer Tye Tribbett’s music.

“What Can I Do” from the Stellar Award-winning artist’s 2009 Greater Than album was Bland’s favorite song said her sister, Sharon Cooper, in an interview with ChicagoMag.com.

The Gospel artist shared via Instagram,

Wow @kjscriven this was one of #sandrabland ‘s favorite songs .. #humbling prayers up for this family . #peacetothemind #comforttotheheart
